Everybody knows the crow. There are actually no places, except very dense forests, that these birds do not inhabit. It may be urban or rural, cultured or natural landscapes, treeless islands or single trees in open landscapes.

In mid-April the female birds laid 4-6 eggs. Incubation lasted up to some twenty days, from that it takes about five weeks for the crow chicks to fledge. After leaving the nest the families still keep company for some time. The family activities of the crows aiming to teach the crow chicks grow into clever birds can  be comfortably observed now  in city parks.
