Priidu's son is letting the momentum of travel carry him along rather eccentric trails. He flew to Iskander Bay in the northeast corner of the Mediterranean just as his colleagues have done. He then should have continued on his curved course. But instead, to turn South, he flew directly east to the Eufrates Valley, overnighting at the Al Assad reservoir:

…he even managed to pay a visit to Iraq, although the western desert edge. In the area of some famous archaeological sites he made a few turns and used the opportunity to stop at some irrigation channels, where he was obviously able to nourish his body a bit.

Yesterday evening he arrived near Tabuk, one of western Saudi Arabia's bigger cities, where he spent the night in the mountains.

The next data should make it clear whether he'll fly past the Red Sea on the north side or whether he'll turn southeast for some longer adventures…
