New Camera
This year the Winter White-tailed Eagle Feeding Ground Camera starts a little later than in previous years. The camera was installed on December 8, with the assistance of Tiit and Joosep, but we only managed to get the sound in working order in the new year, with the help of Beta Group.

Bird feeder visitor - Jay
The jay has become an everyday visitor at the bird feeder. The bird, smaller than a crow, wears Estonia’s national colours on its folded wings, has a rose-grey body, white tailbase, and a long black tail but not quite as long as that of the magpie. When it is annoyed the feathers on the crown rise. The jay, cautious but not shy of humans, prefers forest fringes with plenty of undergrowth. In autumn it stockpiles winter food reserves.
The winter numbers vary between 100 000 and 250 000 individuals.
