Jackdaw.
| Jackdaw. | Corvus monedula |
Intelligent and smart birds. The jackdaws look as if they have a silver-grey headscarf, with black, metal-shimmering back plumage, and dark-grey breast. Because teh forehead is black, the iris of the eye seems white, but in reality it is steely-grey.
The winter population in Estonia is, including the migrants, more than a hundred thousand, which is more the nesting jackdaws in summer.
