Hello, all nature lovers!
On April 19th the festive presentation of the best works and the awards in the Looduse Aasta Foto contest will again take place in the Tallinna Linnahall. It seems that nothing can stop the growth of this photo contest – this year a record number of 12 000 photos by more than 1500 authors were sent in. The jury, led by Rein Maran, has already made their assessment of the works, and for now the photos can be seen and judged by all on the Looduseomnibuss web page.
Traditionally Overall is also there at Looduse Aasta Foto – together with Canon we give prizes to the winners in the animal photo classes, and help to print the photos for the Looduse Aasta Photo exhibition. For the fourth year we also arrange the popular nature quiz. Many thanks to Tiit Hunt, well-known nature photographer, for constructing the quiz! In addition to nature photo questions, a novelty this year is a question on an Estonian scientist and to add to the suspense, audio and video queries.
Finding the right answers may take some time and patience but it is worth the effort: between all those who have answered the questions correctly a camera of the recently released Canon PowerShot SX200 IS model will be awarded by lottery draw. There are consolation prizes in store too.
