New Camera
This year the Winter White-tailed Eagle Feeding Ground Camera starts a little later than in previous years. The camera was installed on December 8, with the assistance of Tiit and Joosep, but we only managed to get the sound in working order in the new year, with the help of Beta Group.

Astronomy Day at the Museum of Tartu University History

On Sunday, December 6, on the birthday of the Museum of Tartu University History, an Astronomy Day is arranged at Lossi 25, with lectures, demonstrations of astronomical instruments and activities.
Programme:

14.00 - 16.00 Preparation of rotating star charts, and floor board game “Eesti looduslugu (Estonian Natural History)” in workshop rooms. Prizes to best achievements!
15.00 - 16.00 Presentations of amateur astronomers in Tartu and Tartu County: G. Stiernhielm, E. Knorre, F. Bulgarin
16.00 - 17.00 Presentation of E-book "Tartu tähetorn"
17.30 - 19.00 Astronomic observations night in the north tower of the Dome (provided weather is clear)
An exhibition of computer drawings dedicated to the Year of Astronomy will also be opened.
