New Camera

 
This year the Winter White-tailed Eagle Feeding Ground Camera starts a little later than in previous years. The camera was installed on December 8, with the assistance of Tiit and Joosep, but we only managed to get the sound in working order in the new year, with the help of Beta Group.

Looduse Omnibuss - 1000th event

The event, the 1000th excursion with Looduse Omnibus (Nature Bus), took place in Tallinn’s Linnahall on Sunday. More than 1000 people were there during the more than 4 hour programme. Major parts of the Linnahall  will close from the New Year for substantial renovations and rebuilding. Linnahall, eastwards from the Old Town, and just outside the city walls, was completed in 1980 in connection with the sailing events of the 1980 Olympic Games,
Here is what we who couldn’t go there missed!
 
On Sunday, December 27, starting at 14.00 in the Tallinna Linnahall:
 
The fantastic 1000th nature excursion with photo shows and music, arranger Looduse Omnibuss; an after-Christmas and before the New Year event for the whole family.
 
Jaak Johanson  - celebrating 50 years - opens the event.
The evening is introduced by Jaan Riis and Rohke Debelakk.
“Estonian Nature Conservation - 100 years” proclaimed.
„From ice to ice“- the photo show is presented by the authors: Arne Ader, Fred Jüssi and Sven Grünberg

The evening will be directed by Rohke Debelakk. The end is scheduled for six o’clock, but quite surely it will last longer.
 

Weather station promises pleasant winter weather, it is surely worth coming even from farther away – it is also an event to mark farewell to the Linnahall.
