In the Winter Garden Bird Count recently chaffinches have been observed all over Estonia, even in this severe and snow-rich winter.
Where to see these – outside the nesting period – quite companionable birds? Around bird feeders of course, or more precisely, on the ground under them, looking for dropped seeds. There they keep busy together with the thrushes.
