New Camera
This year the Winter White-tailed Eagle Feeding Ground Camera starts a little later than in previous years. The camera was installed on December 8, with the assistance of Tiit and Joosep, but we only managed to get the sound in working order in the new year, with the help of Beta Group.

Beautiful drawings of the red-backed shrike and the great grey shrike have come from the winner of the Bird of the Year 2009 drawing contest, Kerli Toode. Kerli’s creations also illustrate the Bird of the Year publications that will be published soon.

A reminder that there is just one week left to find and enter answers to the quiz game about this year’s Bird of the Year. The quiz is mainly designed for schoolchildren.
Forms with your answers should be sent to: Tartu Environmental Centre, address Kompanii 10, 51007 Tartu, and must be postmarked on March 15 at the latest. Please note "Nuputamismäng" on the envelope.

The Bird of the Year quiz game is organised by the Estonian Ornithological Society (EOÜ) in co-operation with the Tartu Environmental Centre.
