Yesterday, January 20th, Aivar sat concealed near the eagle camera blind and attempted to read the numbers on the sea eagles' bands. Altogether, there were at least six different sea eagles visiting the feeding site or perching in trees in the near vicinity. Represented were all of the old flock from the first winter (hatched in 2008) through the fifth winter's birds (hatched in 2004). Half were wearing Finnish bands.
