It would be so interesting to follow them nesting and raising hawklets in this urban habitat.

Hi everybody :hi:

Latvian forumers have decided to change the name of the male from Misters X to Misters Y, as we are not sure if it is the same guy...
so we have Margo and Misters Y (or Mr.Y) and their first egg

Urban goshawks, how cool is that 8-)
Congratulations to Margo and Mr. Y for their first egg!
Btw, in Estonia Margo is a boy's name (not that it matters, just interesting).

Egg was alone for a while and Margo returned at 16:23, settling back on the egg

Margo had left the nest at 19:41 ..... young Dad came in at 19:59, touched the egg, moved some sticks, stood with the egg between his legs --- but could not overcome to settle down on the egg

Mom came home at 20:11
