Because it was my secondary cam, I only had time to make two screenshots and there was no tit in the second.

Today again no eagles seen or heard.

It seems that this season the nest will remain emty.
In Sunday morning show Urmas Sellis among other things tells that they have all kind of agreements with supporters but not with the owners of the nests :D

Oh
Hope they have some alternative nesting places nearby like Golden Eagles usually have?

Lovely bird music anyway, today there was a Treecreeper singing near the mic :D

Between 13:00 and 13:30 a pair of Wood pigeons was very interested in the vacant nest. First one (the female?), then both. Courting display but no copulation.

As Tõnn had another plans for summer location, camera will be removed from the nest today.

The cam is already dead. Understandable. I regularly checked, but there was not much happening.
Is Tõnn breeding elsewhere?

What a pity!
My favorite cam. It was great to listen to it, so many different birds. And a stable stream...

To me the number of birds was disappointing, but the quality of the sound was good and almost no problems with the wind.

We took that cam for testing in other place. That system transmits through 4G network, therefore easier to use it in temporary basis. We need to think about next season already.
Other option was buzzard cam on empty nest, but in that case relocation is much complicated.
By T6nns transmitter data he has other nest about 800m away. We did not want to go in that forest patch during the incubation period, but will check nest probably in beginning of July, during ringing time. Let's hope for successful breeding there! Also last year Tõnn and his mate spent most of time in this surroundings, but surprisingly breed in other forest.
Not so easy and predictable with those birds...

Thank you Urmas. I am a bit surprised that they are only 800 meter away, without leaving a noted trace of sound on the cam.

Tõnn doesn´t visit his new nest often, probably there has not been breeding. It is bad "mouse year" and lack of the food for birds who feed on rodents.
