Re: Greater Spotted Eagle, Tõnn´s Webcam - 2017
I noticed in Birdmap estonian version:
"2017 kevadrännet alustas Tõnn 21.märtsil ja jõudis pesapaigale 4. aprillil ning pesitses edukalt."
which means
"In 2017, Tõnn started the spring migration on March 21 and reached the nest site on April 4 and succeeded in nesting."
I guess he had a chick after all.

Tõnn is in hurry to fly home, he started today from the NE part of Poland, I think it takes him only 2-3 days to get home and hopefully to this nest
It seems that Urmas&Co have the same hope

Wow, thanks Biker
Hope they choose this nest this year
And hope we can hear some Ural Owls here too like in metsis.
Spring migration he started 21st of March 2017 and arrived to nest site at 4th of April, Tõnn bred successfully with one chick fledged.
Snow is melting and I bet they will be here on Friday.
(hm, no timestamp on my vlc or flash)

I hope too, Tõnn will arrive on this nest. It would be so exiting to see him live after ten years watching on birdmap.

Common Buzzard tested the nest suitability, Tõnn overnights about 50km eastward. Tõnns navigator did not work properly or the wind influenced so much.

The buzzard was here already yesterday around noon ... can´t say correct time because of the still missing time stamp
It was on the nest for a short check, hardly a minute or so
