Most animals come there in the morning. This is what I saw today, 25 februar 2011 about 14.00 CAT. Elephants playing in the water :loveshower:

Hi Brit
I could only see a part of it this afternoon. So thank you for your pictures of the first part. I was lucky to come in as Karula was on camera. So this time too I don't know the name of the birds in your picture :dunno:
But I made some pictures of Karula

And also of the couple of rhinos. He tried to push her into the bushes, but she wasn't in the mood :whistling:

 Hello Macdoum, I'm glad to see there is somebody else who is interested in the safari. I allways try to make some time to see at least a part of it and most of time there is any surprise. Today it was Karula. :D
Now I see that I posted two equal pictures of Karula. I did change it.
Tomorrow I will not be able to join the safari  I hope Brit, you can post some pictures?

I had the Zulu cam on and suddenly there was an (empty) jeep on the cam (at about 11:15 our time) with some elephants around. They were very curious about it and it was inspected at all sides. Then they took a bath just next of the jeep.

other elephants came and did the same.

At this moment (12:40) there are some people walking around. They try to take the jeep with them. It seems to be as if it is not able to drive anymore.

And now the biggest bull elephant came back

Fortunately after a while he went off and they could go on trying to bring back the jeep.

Thank you for your pictures, Brit. I like the one of the hippo with his mouth open. I had one too but there was just at that moment an advertisement that spoiled my picture. Although there were not many animals this afternoon I made some pictures. Next to the safaricam I had the Djuma cam open, because there were also some interesting things going on. First the elephants.

Image

And then there was a hippo in the water
