7 april 2015
I managed to make a few pictures from the archives of the end of the AM safari with Scott. They found Tingana male leopard who just had killed another aardvark. He didnot bring it up to a tree so the hyenas stole the kill from him and chased him away.

PM safari of 7 april 2015 with Brent and Wium
Very soon after the start they tracked Quarantaine male
look at the pattern along his spine, somebody called it a DNA string
He was looking at something, and Brent said it could very well be that Mvula was in the area as well.

And there Mvula is. Looking at Qmale. (Probably his son)
Qmale walked towards him, sawing
but Mvula went away, ignoring him.

Mvula was looking for Kwatile, the female leopard he was mating with for the last few days
but she was going back to her territory in the south. Brent found her close to Vuyatela lodge
rolling in some buffalo dung
That makes 4 leopards in one day!

Morning Drive
Karula was spotted in a tree with a Diker kill -- the rest of the drive was rather quiet.

I had connection issues -- then lions, The ________ Breakaway Pride (Selati?), and then Shadow's Cub.

12 April
Morning Drive
The Matimbas, Quarantine and Karula all more or less very near Buffleshoek Dam. At the end of the drive, it seemed that Karula watched Quarantine, but it was not clear that he saw her.

17 April Morning Drive
No Drive, it's question and answer time in the parking garage -- pouring rain.
Brent and Stephen are out looking for a leopard.
Scott is answering questions (but everyone took their turn)
