They are re-organizing the website completely and so some sites familiar to us will be re-named and one has to start from scratch;registering and etc. I think they may have new 'netmasters' ?Jo UK wrote:Really, macdoum?
What is happening there? I haven't visited it for a long time.
Not sure but on panda forum we have been advised to abandon current forum and go to new one in the space of a few weeks. The current forum/s ? will change.
Some forum people (eg Skipper) will not follow as she doesn't agree. All the videos and pics will stay in a locked forums.
Don't understand it much myself. But it will complicate things enormously for current topics. All close---transfer to new. main thing is the data collected will stay behind.
if I got that exactly right but that seems the gist of the matter.
Maybe Bociany or Judy B can tell you more.

Thanks Carmel. I tried to register a new account there, but decided not to - it wants too much personal information!
I wrote to JudyB and explained my reason for not joining.

it is our North coast, and there are swans...hard times for them as the weather is going more colder for another week or so

this is the coldest winter we have had in last 10 years, so lots of swans got lazy and didn`t migrate in the autumn...i really do not believe these here are going to move in warmer places now
there is still some open water, they have gathered there

Update – January 22, 9:47 PM ET The long wait is over. When labor started at 1:59 PM CST yesterday, we thought it would be short. Cubs average only ¾ pound and 9 inches long.
