Oh yes, I've seen this bird at shorelines and not far from wetlands. He moves very quickly! The only time I've seen them nesting is on this webcam. Thanks for the German name!

Peregrine cam

Apparently one chick has hatched (so 3 more to go). The expert says because it has been very cool there, we will likely not get many good views of the chicks -- for the first 10 days the chicks cannot regulate their own temperatures.

After a long time away the Djuma Waterhole cam is back :loveshower: I must say, the quality of the picture is very good. During the day there is a lot to see. Many animals come to drink or just enjoy being there. Sometimes it is quite exiting to see what is happening. Fighting hippos, a herd of about 50 elephants who come to drink or take a bath, and one day there was a leopard stalking a young hippo in the evening. That is to be seen too, because there is also nightview. So if you like to see this big animals , this is a cam for you!

I will post the link in the topic 'other webcams' as well. And I will post some pictures here.

Here are some pictures of both the safari cam and the waterhole cam at the same time. Because there was going on a safari around the waterhole everything was to see at both cams at the same time but from different points of view.

Image
Here you see the herd of elephants going to the waterhole
Image
On Djuma Waterhole cam you see Marc and Becky in the Ganda filming the elephants. On Safari cam you see what you get when you are joining the safari. There are two safaris every day, on 6.30 and 15.30 Central African Time, that is at the moment the same time as in Western Europe. If you want to join a safari, this is the link: http://www.wildearth.tv/safari
