Mamicja I watched the Kookaburra Australian cam for longer last night but I only saw ONE chick :puzzled:
Can you tell me what happened to the onther one or two chicks please.....if you know ?

Two theories so far on third egg. Its broken or hatched and chick was dead.

Kookaburra chick started to open eyes. It has also more grey feathers.

Kookaburra chick made a great progress last days. Eyes wide open and lot of new feathers.

It took 35 min to swallow a lizard, chick was very exhausted. :shock:

I thought, the chick suffocated. Later it had symptoms of hiccups and indigestion, and then became drowsy.
