Sorry, I see your question only now, macdoum.macdoum wrote:Thank you Brit for the link. can you say where the cams are situated ?
What I understand from the google translation(!) it must be near Oppdal (the stream is going to Oppdal), which is situated in the middle of Norway, province Sør-Trøndelag which is situated on the foot of the mountain range Dovrefjell ...
Sorry, I didn't find any other infos ...

I got a hint about a Red kite (Milvus milvus) feeding platform camera in Italy. For a while I did not see anything, but then the other day there was first a heron
which was soon joined by a red kite
Besides the heron, which seems a regular visitor, and the red kites, there is the usual crowd of magpies and crows.
Today afternoon I saw 11 red kites at once on the platform and several were flying around without landing
Link address for the camera (Ustream): http://tinyurl.com/kmhtr3k
A good time to watch, according to my source, is between 4 and 7 PM Italian time. Right now at 7 it is already dark, but before 5 PM today afternoon, I saw the big crowd.

Looking at the diary in swedish it says:
141106
This winter we will not be able to put out pig meat since the butchery we used burnt down.
We are dependent on road kills. Now a roe deer is on the table.
We hope for some wild boar since they are fatter and lasts longer.
141109
In the freezer we now have 3 roe deers and some rest from an elk (moose)
