We are excited to present one of our flagship projects. For the first time in Israel a 24 hour live HD Nest camera from a Long-legged Buzzard nest! This specific pair started nesting very early this year and are currently incubating 4 eggs!
Presently it is night there
Picture looks really fantastic!

It's really a pretty lady. She took a short flight around, maybe got something to eat, as she kept on looking up and calling softly before leaving.
Eggs can't be seen, very well hidden, and I fear the grass will cover even more, as it grows. But it is refreshing to see the green.

Thanks for the link to this cam. Very interesting and different landscape.
We found their Facebook page for "Israel Raptor Nest Cam", with daily videos of special moments.
Google translate is good enough to understand.

It might be a local kind of Cyclamen which grows between rocks, during winter, in the Mediterranean countries.

Yes, could be one - it is such a nice colored spot there
We have them here in my area, too, in the mountains - but it is still much to early for them, as there is still snow in the mountains and we just get a fresh load of snow

Some days ago the camera did a panning shot around
The nest is not so far away from the next city it seems
And today I saw for the first time both of them on the nest

Today I saw all 4 of them.
On their FB page there are interesting videos, the last one shows a feeding with a rabbit, still alive.
Seems they have enough food and chicks are eating without big fights.

There is a Watch Warning! on the next one. Not easy to watch for some of us:

I just hope they will all survive, I read about an eagle owl attacking the nest during the night and the team's worries about the chicks being alone after a while.

Long-legged buzzard
Mom was feeding to kids a lizard with long tail that was moving around all the time, even when half of lizard was eaten.
The 4th kid did not want to eat and went behind the rock wall
