Re: Wildlife Cameras that are really good
Congratulations, Manu! The sound is great!
When I looked tonight, I saw this: A loner boar explored all around the feeding ground, took a long dirnk of water, looked around some more, then decided to take a little mud bath.

Good evening, Manu! I think it is a skinny fox. I compared it with the recording of the fox below the cam window, & I think it is the same, only perhaps it has shed its winter coat for a thinner summertime fur.
Tonight, I wonder if these boars are different from the two groups we usually see. There seems to be one pig that is big but still has faint baby-stripe markings. I don't think I have seen more than two adult sows at a time & there are at least three adult-sized one there tonight. And I think there are only four little piglets (unless one or two are in the darkness, unseen).

I can see boars and piglets on cam just now. I am relieved to see they are not suffering from the wildfires raging now in Valencia Spain.

Hello, Macdoum! That was funny, "Have you seen. . . now I have seen. . ."
I was not able to come down the stairs to our computer room for several days-- my back & left leg were hurting too much. I went to my doctor, who said there did not seem to be any broken bones anywhere, but that I had strained all the ligaments & tendons in the lumbar area of my low back when I fell while on vacation. As a result, not only do I have low back pain, but also I have sciatica-- that is, the large sciatic nerve that comes from the base of the spinal cord & runs down the back of the butt into the back of the thigh, & on into the calf muscle, has been inflamed. He said it can take 6-8 weeks before it improves, unfortunately. So I am using a cane & asking my hubby for more help than usual. He is a sweetheart & helps whenever I need it.
The medications the doctor prescribed (an opiate for pain & a muscle relaxer to assist in pain relief) make me a bit dizzy & sleepy, so I am being extra cautious when I stand up & walk about the house. I do not want another fall! But as I said, my hubby is good about helping me.
I am glad to come back to the computer now & to get caught up on all the forums.
Edit, 1:38am--
I forgot to thank all of you who have been posting links to other wildlife cams. We have a lot to choose from, now.
