Yes, that is the weather typical for January and not for the ending of Winter. And -30 is too cold even for Moscow(although it was only -16 at night and -9 in daytime).

The chicks have returned to the nest for some time. In the middle of the month, there was only one with injured leg overnight. Storklet used a curious survival strategy. As it was difficult for him to move on the ground, storklet had been walking between the fishermen of the nearby Sió dead chanel and waited for the little fish. By the end of August, storklet probably came back to join a BS group that was preparing to fly.

I hope, our storklet changed that survival strategy after healing (László Anasztázia, the photographer, wrote, that was enough cautious - it was maybe later)
