renandeli wrote:Good evening! Boa tarde! :bounce: The Black stork was out of the nest from 09:02 in the morning to 19:59 in the evening (Poturguese time -2h)! The eight or ninth night on this nest is beginning for the Black Stork, as far as I know. Looks good! You can see it there until the night is black, and only fireflies are flying in the air. One week left to the full moon! :laugh:

It has been a quite windy day.

Just zoom the little video window to full screen.. It seems to be resting or sleeping. :sleeping:
http://static.publico.clix.pt/grifosnaweb/

I took the snapshot for one second too late. I saw when it flew from left side below directly on the nest, not to the same place on the clip of rock where I have seen it lands usually.
How can I zoom the video to full screen? I tried many ways but it does not work. :banghead:

btw: I think you mean Portuguese time plus (not minus) 2 hours. :unsure:

I usually have the vulture/BS cam open through their site (on the left top corner of the screen) and pig/bambi cam open through wmp (on the left down corner of the screen) :D
And use the remaining 3/4 of the screen to work :whistling:
Same here

WMP --> pig cam
internet 1 --> LK Forum
internet 2 --> "working page"

and a 3rd internet explorer with the BS cam lets the pig cam crash or working worse. :bash: (that also goes for other videos/webcams)

In Portugal it's UTC time (Less 2 hours than Estonian and East Europe time)
To see the video full screen click with the right button of the mouse on the command bar below the video stream and it appears there the possibility of zooming.
You can also see it using wmp: http://wms.fccn.pt/grifos-rodao

We need to find an e-mail address in order to contact the owners of the Black Stork webcam in Portugal, in order to seek permission to carry a link to it.

Thanks if you can help.
:wave: Jo
I already talked with the "owner" of the camera and sent an e-mail to Kaido with the contacts.
They are very interested in a sort of partnership between the 2 sites :innocent:

Better one with both

I edited this picture a little, and lightened the part inside the gray lines. I guess it does not make much difference.

renandeli, I wonder if one stork was on the nest all along? I did not notice it until s/he moved. That corner is dark, but I think one or both are still there , as night is falling.

They are there both. Here you see: 6 pictures, 1-2-3/6

The other has been all the time on the nest (I don't know how long time!). First for one minute they were both beside the nest. The other was first outside the nest and the other one on the nest.

Then the other one went on the nest too, then after some two minutes this one came besides the nets. But very soon it came again on the nest. At last they are there both. 1-2-3

I have no idea when the other one Black Stork appeared on the nest.
I checked my folders (they are not perfect!!.. only one pic in one minute or in every 30 seconds) and this is a shedule from the morning:

At sunrice a BS was on the nest and at 09:02 the BS left.

A BS returned at 12:09 on the nest and was there till 15:23 (how could one know who was he/she?)

After 15:23 I did not see any BS anywhere. Only at 20:28 I saw a BS flying on the nest, and then for a big surprice, after some seconds I saw, there were two of them.

One picture of the BS at 08:56 in the morning.
edited 22:10 The other BS came a second after the first one, at 20:28! Now I read this there in the Portuguese thread. :peek:

Hi Renandeli and Bociany :wave:
One more time thanks for the pictures :bow:
The moon today raised at noon and will set at 3 in the morning. But I think that the sky is a bit cloudy. When the clouds alow, the moon shows the nest but is starting to be on the shadow of the rocks in the back.
