Oh, I used 'the Finnish time'. It is one hour more than here in the forum 'dates', but same as in Estonian web cams. It is two hours more than in Portugal! [UTC+2]Eastern European Time..

In those pictures there are the times I see in my PC!

Now it is here 22:40, 20:40 in Portugal. right?

Thanks! I am not too good 'in numbers'.. It is anyway nice to follow how the Black Stork is quite precise and follows a regular schedule when it returns in the evenings at home. Nice! Propably, I'm quite sure, that she landed on the home rock at about 18:20 Portuguese time, also 20:20 in Estonian and Finnish time! Althought I did not see just that moment.

BS woke up at 6h15 UTC, made some repairs on the nest. Stretched her wings :loveshower: and left her place at 6h56UTC.
I will be away all day  but I believe that Renandeli will make a nice diary of BS :whistling:

Yes, I will have the cam open every moment I'm in my PC room, and I'll try to read the posts in Portugal too! We have to know everything about Mrs Black Stork!

There is it. At 11.50 Estonian time, 9.50 Portugease time it cleaned feathers and went into the nest on the corner behind the rock.
You can't see it on the 'small' window. Right click and zoom fullcreen! At any moment she can show herself better. Of course .http://static.publico.clix.pt/grifosnaweb/#begin

I think that stork is he! But i'm not sure of course...
If remember last spring right - Donna begun with nest preparing only after pair has formed. Here I can't believe that, yet.

Good evening
The BS was present for most time in the morning. After
12:00 it was away about a half an hour. Then it came back and I got some quite good pictures between 13:30-13:38. The bird's feathers are really shiny and beautiful.

At 14:00 I went out to stores and came back 16:00. BS was absent. Then next time I saw it at 19:05. But in the afternoon I took some pictures of the nest. The cam was zoomed to see near, thought it was empty. It looks out a BS nest, I think! And it is was told that she has made some arrangemens on the nest, moved moss, branches, dry leaves. Now, at 19:34 it admiring the view over the river.

I'll put the pics later.
(portuguese local times are the 'same' as abowe - 2h!)

edit: Well, as I see Urmas says below, it sure not at all is it a she or he.

pictures taken between 13:29-13:37 Estonian time:

Later after 19:34 she/he went on standing on the rock untill about 20:00, and flew away, but returned 20:17 and went directly to the nest. It begins to be dark now.

More pictures of today:
1) one more zoom picture at 13:37- the shiny black diamond rainbow coloured feathers, moss on the nest where the BS is staying

2) a zoom picture of the same nest without BS

3) one picture of an other, a different nest near by, or remains of e nest? The cam view was moving here and there, all at once the cam stopped to this plase.

Can anyone help, please?

We need to find an e-mail address in order to contact the owners of the Black Stork webcam in Portugal, in order to seek permission to carry a link to it.

Thanks if you can help.

Hello Urmas
The BS have been seen together on the 24th (very friendly to each other) and on sunday (1st of March) they were near 2 hours in "mating dances" but "nothing" happened :rotf: . It seemed that the "lady" was not willing to it :whistling:
