Hello all!

There was a ringed eagle at the nest this morning (maybe 7:45ish? I didn't think to check the time :slap: )

Then a mystery sound that sounded like a gunshot 10-15 minutes later. (and just now at 8:17) Edit: Trees cracking in the cold. I've never heard that before.

If you have a video archive I thought someone would like to go and check. :)

i cannot make out the ring numbers - Blue/silver and black - is that Estonia? I think there's 105 or is it A103? not sure

the black ring - E1? beneath that 4?

edit: Blue over white is Estonia
rings on the other ankle (tarsus?): Black over black - i think this one identifies the year

Great observation of today!
E148 (+M1030) has been ringed by Joosep Tuvi in Hiiumaa island, Kassari (23.05.2013) within joint field works of ESTLAT Eagles Cross Borders project. There was two chicks in nest.

Thank you very much Lisbeth and laranjeiras. :2thumbsup:
The colors of the ring are exactly the same as those of the three chicks of Anna and Uku.
