If you observe the male as he lies the nest decorated, you could think he is already breeding. :D

For a short moment both were on the tree on the right and the female came back with a branch, crash landing at the nest

Yes, it was a splendid moment :D Made me think of Durberta too!
Maybe (as in our world) girl eagles are considered lousy flyers by male eagles too...
