we were having supper at the critical time so i watched the video later. it sounded like that this was again a painful delivery. she made those chirping sounds again.

then afterwards she stood by the eggs so long that for a while i thought that she would drop another one in a row... but no.

this seems fair now: there was so much noise earlier that only one egg seemed too little for all that ado.

I am curious to know why she stood for some time, letting the eggs cool down.
What is she waiting for?

maybe she was just letting her breath cool down. it sounded painful again.

Wil :hi:
i'm watching your video from earlier today. great that you have a recording which starts well before that strange incidence began.
i saw part of it while in another window (while i was downloading it). at the same time i was watching the second egg arriving...

it seems to me that there may have been an intruder after all. Linda is staring at something and Sulev begins to call near the nest outside the picture... and then Linda calls and a nuthatch... maybe the sound is mismatched again?.. Linda seems to be calling at 12:44. she looks annoyed.
12:44:40 picture time both voices. then Linda screams in picture... a lot and for a long time.

i see no reason why she would yell at Sulev like that.

17:46 picture time both voices. 12:47 Sulev comes to left branch and just seconds earlier Linda rises and spreads her wings and begins to yell. then both yell together.

i think there had to be an intruder which we never saw. both were upset about it and defending the nest together.

Ame, I also thought there was maybe a intruder because they where screaming and looked up and there was indeed a little bird screaming in the beginning and Linda did not like it. I mentioned it when I was uploading but then I were cut off of LK and later I was forgotten  17:07 Sulev arrivés on the nest and I think he saw the eggs but I am not sure. I looked at Linda's back but she was not fully on the eggs and Sulev was very curious to watch on her belly
