Olga wrote::rotf: ame, that tail and the spots on it! OMG.. Sitä saa mitä tilaa... how to translate well? You get what you call!
i seem to be good in directing these 'mindless' creatures  ... this time i didn't tell Sulev to strike a pose, like i did once to a furry at the pig-cam1-ground. i told him three times and he looked at the camera and made a pose each time. :rotf:
that picture above is magnificent! :2thumbsup:

here's the link to the today Noon Pontu picture
http://pontu.eenet.ee/kotkas/2010-03-05 ... -12-00.jpg
it shows that the midday-sun is behind our backs so the cam is looking to the North as we thought.

Sulev is working nicely.
But here plastics might come in useful (remember the black storks) - he could cover the snow with some black polymer sheet, and just see the snow melt away in the sun ... Or something dark-coloured anyway; black soil works well too to pick up extra heat.
More seriously: what decides the egg-laying time for the eagles? how long can they put it off? if there is snow in the nest for "too long": what happens?

Does every eagle has its own, specific tailmarks?

This is a picture from last summer. Sulev sitting on the branch and Linda is eating on the nest 11/7-09. Linda have two perfect hearts on her tail. Sulev has two spots too, one of them as a heart. Do someone else have a picture of Sulev's tail to compare?

No doubt Olga, that this guy seem to be a mysterious one.
They are coming to the nest without estate agents. :dunno:
