at 10.30 the first jumped in to the nest and the second flew in right after it.
Image

again the second did not stay long.
Image

the first was again sitting on the back branch for a long time... it took off at 10.35.
-that was a fairly long stay for the first one and the other dropped by twice.

Hello everybody

The last days I haven´t much time and whenever I took a short :peek: during the days I always saw an empty nest..
But today I am lucky, one buzzard stays at home :loveshower: sometimes calling

Only Tiit and Tiina are friendly to me
Thanks God, I am not alone with that bad luck

Pitti, maybe unlucky persons as we should only watch at Tiit and Tiina and perhaps at the ospreys-nest. Piret and Madis are friendly too.
Or should we better stay at Käsmu? Clouds, wind and waves are more reliable

Oh, oh, not any ospreys for you today ... :faint:

No wind, no clouds and a very calm sea at Käsmu this evening - so, also not longer reliable for us

April 22nd
good morning! :hi:

8.21 a buzzard came to the nest and it's "making bed" there, talking silently to itself.
Image

a little later it climbed to the back branch. it is sitting there silently, looking around.

thank you for the pictures! so it is was a rather uneventful day again, with no egg...

EDIT: the buzzard left at 8.28.
Image
let's see how long it will take before it returns. i guess within 4 minutes... :whistling:

the buzzard came back at 8.48.

this time it seems to be staying longer and it is working harder, arranging sticks and twigs. one bigger twig has been in the way across the nest over it. the buzzard has tried to turn it aside or to cut it away several times during these days. this time it tried really hard and for a long time to get rid of it, but with no success this time either... :slap:

it left at 9.05.
