the camera was off all day. :unsure:
VLC gave me error messages which looked like this. i think it meant that the whole transmission was off and not just the camera. or i dont know. the seal camera gives similar messages when it's off. :puzzled:

I also tried a couple of times! Maybe the wind was too strong? Hope it did not disconnect anything!

There are problems with transmission. Before darkening I adjust just a little the antenna close to nest and changed batteries. Will see in the morning if it helped or there are more severe problem.

But there were some downy feathers close to the nest so Linda-Sulev have visited the place during last two weeks. Probably not the nest itself.

Thanks for the information, Renno, we all hope and keep our fingers crossed, for the problem being solved already and for Linda and Sulev coming to stay and breed at the nest!

Thank you for this information! Very encouraging that there are traces after the main characters near the nest, I cross my fingers.. :thumbs:

12:25 - A bird out of sight is working near the cam, and a dog is barking. I also heard sound of wood (or something like that) that breaks/ cracks..

but i am also very happy because i have not managed to get on to the gray seals webcam - this link takes you there but the one on the forum doesn't

it was a sunny and beautiful day and there wasn't much wind either. :rolleyes:
a woodpecker was knocking near the nest after 11 am for some time.


the camera turned off at 16:54, a few minutes after the last picture here.

a cloudy day again but it is dead-calm: no wind at all.
a black woodpecker called a long time. before that a jay made a buzzard-imitation. :D


a willow tit and a nuthatch visited the nest at 13:46.

another dark day. :faint:
in the morning it began snowing. didn't hear or hear anything special
(had the cam on and volume on almost all day). a gif of today's pictures.

today it was a calm and cloudy day again. in the morning it was snowing a little but it didn't increase snow on the nest.
at times i heard voices of some birds' voices, but i didn't see anyone.

(i suppose if there had been something special Fireblade would have told us... maybe? :dunno: )

there are men walking in the forest and talking loud... and they shouted and they are blowing in a horn! what can this mean?? :shock:
the shouting and horn-blowing begins here about 2 min from the start. be careful: it's loud. (i had a headset on... :shock: )

there were a lot of steps.... then i saw someone walking by the nest on the right side where there's a dark shadow.
