"Piraat" is definitely not a name. If someone says "piraat" I will not think of a female, but a male person.

Lumi "feels" as a female name in Estonian and has been used as such. Pruuni (or Pru) dosen't "feel" like a name in Estonian.

Lumi is a new, modern female name in Finland and we have many little girls by name Lumi. Lumi is Estonian word too (as in Finnish lumi means snow).

i'm updating the list of proposed names. i am doing it exercising my "dictator right" as the moderator in this topic. that means that i have removed some proposed names which i consider invalid as non-Estonian. i have also limited the variants of some names to only one. different variants of basically one name would scatter votes and diminish the chances of that name.

i also excluded the name Estonia because it is very-very rare that a name of a country would be used as a name for an individual live being. at least i haven't heard of such. besides we have a lot of real, nice, proper names to choose from.
