19.04.

Hello all, I'm new to this. Thank you all for these forums full of information - and kindness!

Bird of prey came to the beach, stayed there for a while, calling. Sea gulls were trying to chase him away but he didn't care :) I thought it was too dark for both an osprey or a sea eagle? It didn't have a white tail either.

It was fun to follow these events yesterday. :D The big old male landed first to rest and was alone for some time. Then the young one came, but kept a distance and the male didn't care. As more seals gathered with the young one, the male started to lift its head nervously, like "This is my beach, I came here first, and now you noisy lot are coming to disturb my rest." He didn't get aggressive, but was clearly annoyed. During the evening an adult seal from the pack tried to approach the big male like saying "Hey, what are you doing there on your own, come along with us, we're having a good time!" And the male just couldn't care less, he made some grumpy gestures and kept on sulking on his own. This happened several times.

Oh boy, it's not easy to be an old seal among the young ones!
