hello Kuremari! :hi:
was that a blackbird in your picture or was it just another crow?

here's a short clip with no living soul in it, just the sun shining on the clouds above the opposite coast and on the ice barrier in front of our shore.

the sun is shining brightly on the opposite coast. the colours are even more beautiful than a while ago. :headroll:

there's a bonus: a seal's head pops out of the water. :D

some blocks of ice drifted by so that they show how the waves move.... it's getting so late that the evening glow colours begin...

the bonus here: some crow calls (but none in sight) :whistling:

two seals were on the floating ice raft out there and then they jumped into water.

now they seem to be on the raft again. it's getting difficult to see, it's getting dark and they are so far there...

I just finished watching the videos. Thank you Ame, Kuremari, & Venegor for your great pictures & videos of the day after Alice & I had to log off. :loveshower: What lovely light & reflections there were during the day! Ame, once again, you got the blue moment! And the seals were so amusing as they climbed onto & rode the ice floes. I got no real sense of the size of the ice chunks until I saw the seals on them! The ice is bigger than I thought. Here is hoping that there was enough light during the day that the cam will work again when dawn returns.

Tonight I am too sleepy from staying awake so long last night to watch the beautiful beach. So I shall rest rather than stay on the cams tonight. Good day / Goodnight, everyone! I hope the beach cam works & you can enjoy the snow, waves, seals, & maybe eagles, too! I am :offtobed:.

Good morning!
I am also missing the cam open since days. Perhaps of the cold weather it is striking. Let us have patience....
Kindest regards from Bleggi :hi:

and this is the forecast:
Image

there's narrow slice of Sun on tomorrows chart but so there are all the other possible symbols, too. so i don't count much on the chances of seeing the camera even tomorrow... :faint: ... maybe next Tuesday...

Just checking something - I am wondering if that is a "stock" image because I see the same group of animals and rocks each time I go there.

Image

Hah! Interesting!
In spite of there being three hours and thirty minutes time difference between Ame's screen shot and mine, they are identical! Seal and bird in exactly the same position
Oh we,, the weather data is current, even if the image is an old one. Maybe that webcam is frozen too?
