Around 9.50:

Karl regurg. 2 large portions of several water creatures. Some fish just too large, which Karl ate later on. As far as I could see all 3 ate.

Important Events on the Black Stork Nest 2018

April 8. 12.35 Karl arrived at the nest and
" 18.25 Kati arrived

April 16th First egg seen at 05.15

April 18th Second egg, seen at 04.05

April 19th Third egg seen at 18.54

April 22nd Fourth egg seen at 05.04

I hope the hole is today and the little one is born healthy. As I have read, the eggs should equip the chicks with more and more forces the later they get into the nest(the eggs). I have to see if I can find the link to it. We will see how it will be.

It is he same as in the latvian nest. I've heard egg talk very often since early morning. Here at the nest.
For the latvian nest I hope, it does not hatch. The other are so big.. the fourth is almost unable to get food.It eats, but not as much as the others.

The difference in size shouldn't be too large.

Number 3 here is a strong little fighter. Pretty assertive.

13:10 Again water and a bit of food. I think the youngest has eaten the most of it.
13:11 Much more food now. It looked a bit pre-digested. They have all eaten well. They need a siesta.

13:45 Karl is "taking care" of the chicks and the nest floor. The chicks didn't like it too much.

It worked hard to swallow it, but it was too big for him. Kati ate it back.
