If it IS Tiina, may be that black spot at the white feathers of the chest is an identification mark! (I keep looking for differences )

Since I had to get up early today for shopping, I could not resist to start the PC and take a short look through all cams.
Stork nest was still quiet
After I came back, we had a bit more action:
I also find it very nice, how they tend to each other
In the back is Tiit, but after that they again started to circle the nest, so I lost who is who ...

We don't yet know how many chicks this nest - these adults - can support. On the first black stork nest we learned that 3 was the ideal number.

and because I know nothing about the BS I also do not know how many hours it takes for her between eggs. I just wait and hopefully will see.

12:15 On the first pic Tiina has just left the nest, and Tiit jumped at place in three seconds. He had been sitting there behind the trunk. I think he was counting the amount of eggs, at first!

About at 13:30 she stood up, preened, moved the eggs a little while airing the nest bottom.

I'm not sure after three years, but I think on 2008 Donna laid an egg every second day or so and it always happened during the night or very early morning. Does anyone remember? In this case we could expect to see a new egg tomorrow. Wouldn't it be great?
Tiina and Tiit have been working hard to have more eggs.

and it's english translation http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/9977 about this nest.
In Estonian it says this nest is known since 2009 and there were three chicks (see the picture below).

Tiina arrived, Tiit left the eggs, made avances to Tiina, without success, he left and Tiina is on the eggs now.

You're right. In 2008, Donna laid egg every two days and usually it has been done at night. This normal rhythm has been affected by the aggression of a foreign male. This meant when one egg (from three layed) was destroyed, and Donna have laid the two new eggs. Two storklets hatched from these late eggs have been killed and eaten by Donna.visitor wrote:I'm not sure after three years, but I think on 2008 Donna laid an egg every second day or so and it always happened during the night or very early morning.
