I was looking through all my pictures, but did not find anything else, the cam was so unclear in between and later the chicks were flapping too much with their wings and covered the parent.

Olga, I have the recorder on!

Edit: but at least it looks like Neli left and is hopefully on her way south! I nearly fainted, when the cam went on and I saw a stork there again! :faint:

I have yesterday's Pontu photos and everything looks like Neli was at home for a short moment only to say good bye to us! :D

Bleggi, it is none of our young ones, but we are not sure either, if it is one of the parents!

Who is this stork? During last seasons the parents did visit the nest for the last time after all the chicks left(Tooni in 2007 and Donna in 2008) but this guy looks like total stranger. Is he just having a short rest during his migration? An elder brother of our storklets?

I thought perhaps it is one of the parents and had the last fish if there is Neli which has not left yet. And he could eat the fish by himself - take a rest and leave for the south, too.

I think it is raining there as well.
Didn't Urmas write that last year they only found broken eggs at that site?
I really don't know! It would be good if all of them would have rings to see who is who! :help:

The grey on top our feeding parent had as well

I am reading a Black Stork book right now and yesterday evening I happened to read about colouring and that it is changing in the course of a year, the colours are most bright when they start breeding.

First part

I just keep it running, and make a playlist out of it when all are done and up

15:32, I think, it must be one of the parents. They are the only ones familiar with the location of the nest.
Just checking, to see that all the young ones are gone !

A visitor  Maybe it is Tiit checking the home one last time before migration. Isn`t it a video of Donna doing that in 2008?
I think he looks familiar with the nest...walking around, just enjoying the silence and maybe thinking of the great job they did this year.. :2thumbsup:

Looking at the pictures and films, my guess would also be that this is one of the parents, checking on the nest and since Neli - hopefully - left for South, just rests a bit and then also leaves! I have not seen a BS nest before, I don't know the goings-on before and after.
But it keeps us on our toes, still!
