Re: Black Stork Webcam Discussion 2012.
Lucy,thank you for the video!
Yesterday I watched the nest one hour before your video time. There was such a chorus of birds song, but about 7 am it was as swiched off!

19:00 Tiit is here!
Probably it wasn't easy day for him - need to find food when it is snowing or raining... I hope he will stay at home now.

Thank you to everybody who shares pictures and videos about the black stork again. I was shocked when I saw the snow in the nest this morning and full of hope that the stork would come. And when I had a look during my day, he was not here. Now I saw him and had to look what all of you saw and showed here. Wonderful, thank you.
Lets hope for the best with this nice parents (when mom arrives in some days).

So glad to see him, but perhaps he should find a warmer place for a week or so!
weather people say that cold will last at least 4-5 days...
but then, they are wise birds and know what to do, at least i hope so!

Poor Tiit rain and snow on his first days home, and I read that the cold weather probably will last for 4-5 more days..let's at least hope for warmth when the periode is over, or sooner
I am so glad that Tiit came home for the evening, he is so beautiful.

20.45 It's dark already, i can see only white snow on the nest. Tiit is sleeping on the branch - better than stay on the snowy nest...
Good night

Thanks, Kitty! So that was what I heard! - There was some snapping of branches too. But earlier it sounded very like human voices too (actually now also) and real dogs (not Ural owl woofs). And there was one quite loud, sharp bang.Kitty KCMO wrote:Although we cannot see wild boars anymore, I have a little substitute. Local time at the black stork nest was 12 :20 am, & although it was pitch black, I could clearly hear a herd of boars foraging on the forest floor.

Hello Sirje.
Welcome to this forum.
I wonder if there is a way in which we can help you to post in English? Although there are many Estonian members here, there are also a large number of members who do not know the Estonian language, which is why we post in English.
Perhaps you could request help from an Estonian member?
Good luck. Please stay with us so that we can find a way to help you.

Sirje says that she has already read Urmas's article in Estonian, and she is happy he believes it is Tiit or Tiina at the nest. She watched Tiit and Tiina all last summer, and looked at the videos and photos, but is new to the forum.
So - welcome, Sirje!
