Macko :hi: you got the moment when the Storklets and Tiit was "arguing" about the stick. I saw it, and it was so funny. The chicks took the stick, but Tiit took it from them and put it back in place...but the chicks tried again..Tiit will have the nest in order, no interference thank you
- I took a picture of it, but it is difficult to see the stick:

This is from earlier at 21:25 or so (something happened & I was bumped off looduskalender & then for a couple of hours it would not come up-- kept saying could not connect :puzzled:).

Tiit's leg was poking out from his feathers. It was raining hard.

One of the chicks is outside. If the weather was fine, the parents wouldn't have to cover the chicks at all, and stayed beside like last year.

Good morning!
I have wondered watching videos of exchange. First noisy storklets stay quiet and almost play dead when adult arrives, take some seconds when they recognise there is no danger and hope of food instead. :D

19:16 - Parent is sitting on the branch (I don`t know if it is Tiina or Tiit), and the storklets are alone in the nest. Is it for the first time?
Image

Edit: 19:37 - The Storklets are clinging to each other, their safety is gone and they have to stick together...Asteria wrote about the developing of their black feather yesterday, and now I think they are clearly visible on their wingtips.
Image

I forgot:
baska :hi: your pictures of the storklet who is falling asleep on Tiits back are wonderful :headroll:
