21.02 Tiina came and sat on the branch, red legs are seen. Tiit left. Now Tiina is standing in the nest and preening, chicks are chirping and waiting for food.

Oh, wonderful pictures today again! Thank you all! I so like this period when storklets peek out under adult feathers.

At least one parent deliberately decided to stop brooding the last egg. Quite interesting what the second parent will do!

Best wishes,

Seems one or other parent has decided otherwise. The egg has been re-intregrated into the nestbowl with the chicks.

No webcam!
Kasmu is blank, too.

Are other webcams off line?

PS No, it is not a webcam problem. It must be my Internet Explorer. Webcams open when I use Google Chrome.

One day not here and so many pictures and videos were done! Thank you so much.
So lovely pictures with the chicks looking out, made by Nancy, Lussi and best of all George! :loveshower:

George, I wonder why you are doing so many videos of the feeding...
Do you want to do a study what, when and how the chicks get to eat? And in which way the ration of the food is changing?
I think, it's really interesting. I never have seen it so detailed before! :D

maertha wrote:22:33 Is there a crack in the middle of the egg, a jagged line?
Seems to be, maertha. It looks strange, as if somebody has gnawed at it.

I think the unhatched egg is not crashed but covered with dry grass the chicks constantly move. At least from pontu pics it looked like so.
