Taking lessons the second young stork will leave soon, too. Wonderful to watch that and all the pics and videos before, thank you to all who shared them.

About the discussion of posting special big pictures: I don't think it's necessary to make a new thread only for big pictures.
Why don't you post mainly the pictures which are able to be clicked on to extend it, severybody has the possibility to extend it or not. And if the picture is really worth to be extended, the one who posts it can add a notice.
Anyway, sometime somebody asked us not to post too big pictures to save place in the forum (and not beeing forced to scroll so much), haven't it been you, Jo?
Have a nice day all together!
Baska - I am so sorry, but I have accidentally ruined your post and lost the text above the picture, and the picture,
#Humble apologies. In fact, what I wanted to do was to quote this part of your post, and then reply
Yes, it was either, or both Nancy and me who asks that pictures on these webcam discussion forums be kept to something like 800 x 600. But in the past, we have added extra topics to each webcam especially for bigger pictures, We all seem to like bigger pictures (I do) but they do take up a lot of a page. IF there is one topic, separate from the main discussion, then those of us with large-picture appetites can enjoy ourselves and not dsiturb the main discussion thread.
Look at this page, for instance.
viewforum.php?f=18
There you can see that there was a Super Special topic for big pics.
The suggestion of making smaller clickable pics - some will like that. Some won't.
Maybe we should take this discussion to What's Going On. I will move some posts to there.

Tiina is sitting on the branch and Kelly is expecting for food. Now Tiit changed Tiina.
Tommy left between 9.43 and 9.44
68 days after hatching.
Did the parents feed Tommy somewhere else?

hij zal toch niet vastzitten tussen de takken, het is soms erg veel lawaai en onrustig bij de oude en achtergebleven jong.
Ik maak me beetje zorgen.

Kelly didn't fly on the branch but walked there, so I dunno whether it was real branching.

Macko, thank you for the video of the first flight.
But at the end of Mackos video I heard something that sounded like wing flapping, or branches that broke or something..
I hope Tommy is ok, and that he will come back to the nest..

he will not stuck between the branches, it is sometimes very noisy and restless at the old and disadvantaged young. I'm slightly concerned

Very exciting moments.
About 17.57 one parent came to the left branch. The parent stayed there for some time and Kelly was begging for food. I saw Tommy who tried to get to the nest (but the attempt was unsuccesful). Then the parent visited the nest (not sure was there food, I didn´t see.) Now the parent is standing on the right branch. Maybe the parent is waiting for Tommy to come up for food.

Tommy under the nest?
I have wondered all day long unusual behaving. Haven´t seen before that parent stays near the nest when storklets are so big already.
