Thanks Jo, it would be good idea just close the cam and wait when its over. But I still peek the cam (like waiting miracle) and then minimize the window if awful to look (or if seeing reality)

Kenny, these videos are useful, who feels that they are too much to take, just do not look at them.
( i could not  , although i am forcing my mind to understand and cope with facts)
you do not have to delete them

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch Spot#2 suffering!
I think it’s so hard for us because we (naturally) see it from ours (human’s) wiewpoint.
It makes us freel like we all do right now – miserable.
Also makes us talk about Natures cruelty.
That’s OK - by doing that we act like normal representatives of our species.

But what we see on that nest is other species normal behaviour.
When we say words like cruelty - isn’t it about us (humans) having the idea of homo sapiens being some kind of superior species – with having right to judge other species by our (moral) criteries?

I’m sorry if i’m too ‚deep’ – but such sad events like today’s are making think kind of ‚not-everyday-thoughts’.

Kenny i think you simply should'nt delete them - researchers need them.
If they are too much for most of us here - solution is easy. We don't watch them.

Please keep on with the videos as much as you can Kenny. We all understand that viewing this nest is really difficult amd some may not want to view them.

Those are my thoughts, too, Kuremari.

and I agree with yarko's posts below yours.

I would like to help document but I cannot watch this process.

When "this" is all over, we (I) can return and watch Spot grow up (assuming that all else goes well, of course).

After the rainy days and the strong wind all the songbirds seem to be glad and are louder and more singing as before. So nice to hear, the same at Padis' place: sometimes listening is more pleasant and easier than seeing. Sometimes a bird is singing: Privjet, privjet...

Yes, ergee, this is an occasion when sound is better than vision.

I turned off the camera. I am a real coward. I do not want to see tragedy happen.
I may tune in tomorrow.
I had the WTE cam on for sound only.
