Eha had some food in storage! Now she is feeding, but I cannot see that she gives anything to the lesser Spot :puzzled:

Now the lesser opened the beak.. no, it got anything.. Eha, please!

I wish I saw wrong! I saw not all..

edit, 18:56.. Eha seemed to continue the feeding though she has setttled down. The storm is not calming down.

It is hard to watch! But maybe, just perhaps, it is better to give more to the bigger in this phase.. The bigger, if it becomes too hungry, it might try to eat the tiny Spot! It's a horrible thought but I try to find some sense to the situation...eh,no.. the first Spot is so little itself. I was thinking mad..

But let's be optimists! Be cause the tiny chicks are not 'weak', they are healthy, they have vitality more than we believe.. This looks very bad, yes. Is it the storm that makes Koit unwilling to prey? :slap:

I agree, she gave, but what I could see, not as much as to the bigger Spot. When Eha seemed to continue the feeding, after 18:52, or 18:54, she could have been feeding the lesser more what we saw. Eha bended several times her neck and beak down under her chest where the tiny Spot was to the right from the bigger Spot! She had some food left - if only I saw right!

I believe they are still very hungry, all of them

I cannot tell about the feeding -- both or not. But gad this weather, one can see why often only one incredibly cute little chick makes it. It must be terribly hard to get any prey in this kind of weather. Hard to keep one chick let alone two fully fed. They are about the cutest things I have ever seen so I am going to keep hopeful, but...

The weather is so terrible I cannot bear to watch this cam. I will go hug a cat.

alice - what a wise thought - go and hug a cat!
it's good to have someone to hug when things seem to be a bit out of hand.

And she looks about the same now. The birds are singing and the wind is still blowing, but not as badly I think.

Here is my image, which was captured between your two images bociany. It suggests she did not move much. And during the time I watched I did not see much more than eye movement. (I am finding it too stressful to watch this cam. I am definitely worrying about the Spots.)

Bociany, I posted a picture captured between yours. It does not look like Eha moved much.

I agree, and now at

06:50 she is in the same position - only her eyes have moved and her head, just a tiny bit, since 06:19

This is usually the time I see her sleeping with her head tucked under, so I am not surprised.
