Re: Lesser Spotted Eagle Webcam Discussion
It appears I am a little bit mad over this bird.
And clearly the egg is there.
I think it is time for me to away

Lili,
Look your image is just a tiny bit after my last image -- Spotlet must have seen her momma coming, which explains that bug eyed look of joy. She seems so amazing alert, like she is looking about at the world around her.
I am crazy about this eaglet.
I need to stick with ONE gender.
now I will really turn off the cam and go to bed

Yeah, Alice you dont need worry now, Eha is in the nest
I hope Eha dont leave now, some bird was near the nest (didnt see, but only heard)
Eha was watching very carefully.
Even if she is only 2-3 minutes away, its scary to watch. Little spotlet is so tiny.
Edit: 10.45 its calm, this bird (magpie?) is gone

That is a really helpful site. I wonder how much is known about the eagle species we are watching on LK webcams, and how much work would be involved in putting it together as a webpage.

I think a feeding of the spotlet just finished, but Eha had her back to the cam so it was hard to be sure.
It is amazing how huge she looks from the back like that.

I went from that last image to the cam and there was Eha in exactly the same position -- fast asleep.
