Eha got up and found some voles in the pantry storage, but she ate one herself and then did not feed Spot. The chick, however, has a little food in its crop, so he is probably OK. The other egg is still an egg.

Eha is feeding Spot, but she is in the way of a good capture . She ate a goodly bit herself, but Spot seems content.

I think I can hear little chip chip sounds from the second egg, as well as the occasional stronger sound from Spot.

Eha consistently tries to feed poor little Spot with the whole small mammal! Then she gets it, but... And then she finished the rat thing off when the Spotlet was still hungry.

I hope they get another delivery of food soon.

That last picture really captures the way the Spotlet really grabs for her food. She opens her beak so wide and just grabs from Eha

Jo thought she heard something today. I am not hearing anything -- but my computer is making odd noises :bash:

I could hear it only when Eha was standing. Lying down, she makes good sound-proofing!
