Reminds me the Black Stork nest last year - the eggs were left alone for an hour and a half, and as we learned later, nothing bad happened to them.

I think it depends from the weather (temperature) also - for how long they can leave eggs 'alone' i mean.

vaino, I was just lucky to catch her getting up ... she is usually on the nest asleep when I take a peek. She seems to be incubating seriously ...
