What good news, here.
I see there is some new greenery on the nest but it's not easy to get a screen capture until the lighting changes.

I think Koit brought a frog

It looks like leggy Koit with the frog.

They are both on the nest!

Both birds were on the nest together, for a short time. They are close by now - I can hear them.

I think so -- I think she might have the frog.

I do not think my sound and visual are in sync. Iis Eha calling or is it Koit off screen, who is calling?

At 9:47 I could see Eha calling -- assuming it is our pair who have returned.

Good morning all! I just took a picture but see that they are already posted, so there is no need. These birds have a "very young face", those broad beaks give the impression of being young.

Heck maybe it is Koit on the nest and Eha who left -- maybe she took the frog.

Not sure, but I think this may be a female - pale beak and leg colour.

Looks like Koit delivered another prey.

The only thing I can see is Koit is so leggy but when he hunkers or she stretches it is not so clear -- but when he arrived with the prey it was clear the female was on the nest. And as I recall bringing food was pretty much his work.

I think our two eagles just mated -- they were both off there on the branch at the right.

Eha is still on the branch but there have been gusts of wind that blew the greenery about so that the nest was invisible! Such wind.

Seeing whoever this is, I'm reminded so strongly of Spot :D ...shape of the head, and standing in that particular spot, watchfully, patiently, waiting for mama to return to the nest. Since kids so often take after their parents, guess this makes sense. I am not implying it is really him/her! It is wonderful being at the start of this new season in Koit and Eha' lives; what an experience watching Spot grow up last year (including the first couple of weeks post-hatching!!) Hope all goes happily and smoothly this year.

Eha is calling now and then. Just standing around, looking left and right ... a few 'peeps' now and then.
18:00 and seems she has left or she is lying there in the shade..difficult to see. :puzzled:
