Here is some information from Ugis about current nest camera:

Dear friends and colleagues,

This year too, we managed to establish a web camera to watch an nest of a Lesser Spotted Eagle in Latvia in the internet. Use the following link to observe this aerie : http://www.pomarina.lv/

On April 8 at 15.36h a female bird was noticed in this breeding area for the first time. On April 13;17 and 18 it took some twigs into the aerie, still being alone.

The link http://www.dabasdati.lv/forums offers a forum to discuss these matters.

Please forward this information to your friends and colleagues.

Kind regards -

Little comment. This Year Ugjis installed two cameras. One at Grieta and Gusts nest and one at another nest. Only one bird has returned to Grieta and Gusts nest till this time, so this is picture from another nest were both individuals are returned from winter quarters.
Last year adult eagles names is Grieta (female) and Gints (male). Guste is their daughter.

At this year's nest yet is only female

Can somebody tell me if this nest is near the eagles nest? Is it in the same wood? As Ame wrote: both have the same bird songs.

They are coming and going, I think it's the male that is bringing frogs for the female ... like I just wrote in the stork thread, I have made so many pictures, also of the 2 eagles here, I have crashed the uploader

Yes, I think this cam has to be pushed from the Stork Forum to the LSE Forum ... those 2 feel quite well there

Estonian nest, formerly BS nest.
As this nest is now inhabited by a pair of LSEs it was decided to move the topic to the LSE forum

Latvian nest

Little activity.

Now, I have a film, but one can't see anything except the empty nest. But a bird was singing so beautiful, maybe one of you experts know what I heard. I know about the birds around my home here, but I still have not much knowlege about the birds in Estonia or Latvia
