Estonian LSE (BS)

This was a day for some members to count the number of frogs brought to the nest by Remo. He is a really good provider.
The general opinion is that a total of 14 frogs and one unidentifiable meal came to the nest.
Tulli is constant in her incubation duties, as Remo is constant as a good provider.
We have developed admiration for these two beautiful birds.

Tulli is very cross. She screamed stood up and got big. I assume it was a raven or something. But now that she is done I hear an LSE off in the distance. Maybe that was Remo chasing whatever was bothering her away.

One stranger was near the nest again. I think that it's our old friend black stork Toomas. If there were storklets in this nest, then he visited usually this place near 12 o'clock too. Last days were those visits at the same time.

jopie's post -

Much angry screaming by Tuuli, but it does not worry me much anymore. Often after loud angry screaming, she flies away, so the intruder (if there is one...) does not present a big threat to the eggs I assume.

Edit: 6 frogs during the morning!

Remo brought something, looked like a frog but I'm not sure.

Edit: it is nice. Even when not behind the pc I can tell by Tuuli's voice Remo is nearby and coming to the nest

No LSE sightings, but forum discussion about the "musical chairs" on our nests this season.
Liis wrote: Musical chairs - Hela havet stormar = Stormy sea in Swedish.
Didn't find any Estonian name in English/Estonian nor in Swedish/Estonian dictionaries.
:help: , please, Estonian members!
I'm afraid that it's actually quite mundane - "toolimäng" :peek: I think ...
You could google "toolimäng". I did. Found some.
