There were people again yesterday. Made a snap, but like at the bear cam, had not yet the time for uploading. PB was busy at the other name uploading Tormi and family.

Oct 11th: hello!
this seems to be one of those days when the camera stays disconnected....
it clicked at 10.17 trying to connect but it didn't make it.
Venegor : what a lovely Autumn picture. it's almost art!

oh the camera managed to connect after all! i gave up hope too early.
there's something growing in the middle of the nest. i've been keeping an eye on these for some time.... could they be some stick-like mushrooms? (i've edited Fireblade's picture a little to point these sticks.)

Cam was on for a while yesterday (125 pictures) and today as well (142 pictures), nothing special happening, it is windy and wet, the sun sometimes looks through and I am also watching those "sticks" with curiosity and wait what will come out of it.
A scroll down to the bottom showed me, that we may celebrate today:
A very Happy Birthday to Asteria!
Hope she sees it before the day is over!

Hello everyone
wasn't here for a longer time. But I am curious, if we will have another eagle- couple here on the nest. Can hardly wait until next spring.
Told many other raptor-crazy people in US about this nest. I think they will join us, as soon as there is a cleaning and fixing nest or maybe 2 eggs?
Do you think, the nest will be used of eagles or of storks in the future? Im not an expert, that is why i ask.
Remo and Tormi, come back, please *calling*

the forest is misty and mystical. someone is working in the forest with a chainsaw. it sounds like an angry bumblebee.
best birthday wishes from me, too, Asteria!

at 14.25 the camera disconnected. maybe the light was just too dimm...
the chainsaw buzzed for some time (less than 10 min) and then it went quiet. after that there were some voices of jays and ravens and some little birds from time to time, but mostly it was very quiet in the forest.
these are the little birds' voices. i don't know what they were. tits?

it seems to be a clear but cloudy day today.
Lussi: nuthatch didn't come to my mind (once again as i don't really know them), but the voices really could have been nuthatches. maybe someone who knows better could confirm...
at 13.33 the camera disconnected!
i really hope it's not for good today. i just opened the camera...

at 14.16 the camera re-connected! it has become a little sunny. ... and more windy.
EDIT: at 15.30 the camera disconnected again. it had turned very cloudy and gloomy so i think the battery wasn't recharged enough by the solar panel. there weren't much voices, only a raven called somewhere far once or twice. only the wind was sighing in the trees....

Camera was on today, the pictures are still loading, but I can say already it turned off at 16:58.
The temperature difference now lets it get fogged up after a while. It's autumn and it shows!
