Hi Kurmarie. I have been here, nearly daily, reading the various threads, checking in,just not posting a lot.

I folowed the wild boar cams all winter!

here's a clip i recorded before it really got dark.


this camera goes on non-stop despite of the darkness. beautiful "sound-scape". :D

i think it was the warning-cuckle of a blackbird..? :puzzled:

it is dark in stork forest, lovely bird song and the knowledge that the Black Stork is on the nest - what perfect evening!

so please, overseas fans, check the nest in early morning and let us know ....
i so hope it is going to be a happy season :D

Kurmarie, you can bet I will. I check just as I go to bed, around 11 pm and that is very early morning at the nest. A lovely time of day! Around 6 am nest time! :thumbs:

6:38 nest time and beautiful Padis is in the nest and calling out? Very loudly! Now he is laying down just out of visual range.

And I must go to bed. Hope the morning crew is in soon.
